PROJECT ARCHITECT

The Project Architect will work to advance project design concepts and project documentation. This position requires initiative and the ability to prioritize job duties while working as part of a collaborative design team. Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited American college or university. A minimum of 5 years of overall experience working as an Architect is preferred. Candidates must know building systems and construction practices and have a good understanding of how to translate designs into construction documents is required. Candidates must have excellent overall design and technical skills, project-based Revit experience is preferred, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture required. Master's degree preferred

  • 5+ years design experience preferred

  • Licensed Architect with current registration preferred

Contract Management:

  • Manage process for the creation of contract documents, including maintenance and enhancement of online tools

  • Initial review of non-standard agreements

  • Assist as necessary with research

  • Manage administration of executed contracts tracking and database

  • Primary responsibility for overseeing compliance with contractual insurance requirements on a project level, including obtaining and maintaining certificates of insurance

 

Compliance/Regulatory Filings:

  • Primary responsibility for business registrations, annual reports, and other related jurisdictional business filings

  • Research various jurisdictions as it relates to business registrations, annual reports, and other related business and licensure filings

  • Assist as necessary with various regulatory filings

 

Risk Management:

  • Assist as necessary with risk management correspondence, research, and education.

 

Claims Files:

  • Organize and maintain litigation and claims files

ICON is hiring an Accounting Specialist. This person is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and some administrative duties. The typical hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with the opportunity for overtime hours as work allows.

The Specification Writer will provide fully integrated technical support to architecture and engineering teams during the design through construction document phases on all projects. This candidate should have the ability to conceptualize, develop, deliver, and implement management of specification resources on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical resource for architectural staff, providing information on materials, products, finishes, code compliance and construction methods

  • Review architectural drawings to identify scope and content for specifications

  • Perform quality control review of drawings and specifications to provide feedback to project teams

  • Participate in reviews of construction submittals

  • Assist project managers with the preparation of General and Supplemental Conditions and bidding documents

  • Assist in directing consultants in the preparation of specifications in accordance with ICON standards
     

Requirements:

  • Experience in construction document preparation and field observation, knowledge of building materials and current construction techniques

  • Working knowledge of Revit and eSpecs preferred

  • Must be a multi-tasker who has strong organizational and word processing skills, reliable, dedicated to accuracy and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as time management skills
