A replacement shop building was needed in Western McKenzie County, North Dakota. McKenzie County is one of the largest counties in North Dakota, so with only one shop building in Watford City, vehicles and equipment often had to be transported a long distance to the outskirts of the county. ICON was hired to design a new shop building to better accommodate the large size of the county while making travel and work more efficient.
