Robin Hall is UND Aerospace’s newest addition and it serves as the new headquarters for the Unmanned Aircraft program at UND’s nationally acclaimed John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences. The building is a 70,000 s.f. aerospace research facility and is the area’s tallest building with its 127-foot glass and metal tower. The tower also serves as a beacon for the entire University of North Dakota campus. Robin Hall represents the innovative and aspirational nature of the University of North Dakota School of Aerospace Sciences. Inside the building, there is a large auditorium, student study space, administrative offices, classrooms, collaborative learning spaces, and a hangar for flight testing. The basement also includes an open research space with laboratories and simulators. A skywalk connects the new facility to UND Aerospace’s Clifford Hall. The project was completed under a tight construction schedule of just 14 months and totaled $22 million.
