ICON was hired to add more classroom space to Sweetwater Elementary School located in Devils Lake, ND. The project included the addition of six new classrooms, as well as a new library and gymnasium. While completing the project, ICON worked within a tight timeline and budget and was able to finish on time while also meeting the owner’s expectations. Some challenges that ICON encountered included converting the original building into the correct compliance code and handicap accessibility requirements.
