Chester Fritz Library Master Plan and Renovation

University of Noth Dakota, Grand Forks, ND

Project Overview

Located at the heart of the University of North Dakota's historic quad, the Chester Fritz Library (CFL) represents the heart of academic life on campus. Originally constructed in the early 1962, the facility was expanded in 1982, but has not undergone any extensive renovations since that time.

The Chester Fritz Library is in need of reinvention in order to improve its functionality, efficiency and relevance to learners and researchers for generations to come. Throughout the planning process, the investigation, research and user engagement provided the insight needed to develop an implementable plan for the future of the Chester Fritz Library.
